Second StepAt Ho`okele, the students will participate in weekly classroom guidance lessons instructed by the counselors or their teachers. The lessons are part of the Second STEP curriculum which is a Social Emotional Learning (SEL) program.
These lessons focus on topics such as: Bullying Prevention, and Social Emotional Learning (Children learn how to make friends, manage their emotions, solve problems, and deal with peer pressure.) |
